Nutella-stashe

HELLO!

So I dont have very much time to write, so I am going to make this short....

- We have transfers this week..... I will be getting a new companion. I cannot even tell you how sad I am going to be when Hna Rossi goes home....

- WENDY`S BAPTISM! I went to Wendy`s baptism this past week. She was an member reference that we had in Las Cuadras. I was so sad when I had to leave that area because she was progressing SO DANG MUCH. But Saturday was one of the happiest days of my mission because I got to see her get baptized. And can you believe that right after her baptism she wanted to go out and teach with us?! It was a great day. I am so glad that I got to go to her baptism and see her change her life. She is amazing and one of my best friends here. I love her so dang much.

- We finally finished our 8 intercambios this week. YES. Hahaha But I loved all of the experiences that I had with all the sisters. They all teach me so many new things. It is really hard and stressful to be a sister training leader, but it is so worth it because I get to work with so many sisters and see how they share their light with others.

- NUTELLA. Yes, we found nutella. And it was also one of the happiest days of my mission. I missed that stuff! Lets just say that we both got really really hyper after we ate like half the jar.... hahaha

- STANLEY! I AM SENDING YOU A PRESENT WITH A GIRL WHO IS GOING HOME TO PERU. LOOK FOR IT! Her name is Hermana Laime.

- KYLE! STOP TAKING SO MANY GOOFY SELFIES! hahahah just kidding.... they make me laugh.

- HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY! I totally forgot it was Memorial Day....

- I have been craving pizza SO BAD. Can someone send me some?

That is all folks.... gotta go.

LOVE YOU!

Happy Birthday Emi!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, EMI! I cannot believe that you are 6 years old!
What is up, family? How are you all?
I am doing great! We are working hard in our area, and in the areas of the hermanas that we are over. We will have 8 total intercambios by the end of this transfer. Yet another transfer is almost over! CRAZY! I am going to be really really really sad to see my comp go. She is amazing, and such a great example to me. We are always laughing and having a good time. I keep trying to convince her to come to the states.
This week, we really worked hard with an investigator named Toño. He is 50 years old and from Santa Cruz. He came to church with us this Sunday in a suit! He is cool and he really wants to be baptized, but he has SO MANY DOUBTS. It is hard sometimes to answer all of his questions. We hope that we can help him gain a testimony of Joseph Smith. That is his biggest problem right now.
We were really sad because we were supposed to have a baptism this Sunday for a sweet girl named Jennifer, but she didnt show up to church hisSunday. Hermana Rossi and I were heartbroken.... we are unsure about how strong her testimony is. We shall see this week.
Being a sister training leader, I am with so many different sisters every week, and it is really cool. I learn so much from these sisters. By the end of this transfer, we will have had 8 intercambios! Woah... it is tiring, but fun.
What else is new?
- I found insanity. I am so excited to start.
- I still eat so much fruit. Not very much watermelon because it is more expensive, but now the mandarine oranges are SUPER SUPER CHEAP. YES.
- We teaching a less active old lady how to sing Love One Another. It is so cute. I will try to send a video to you. She is 89 years old and she comes to church every week in taxi. She is cool.

Lots more that I am forgetting to tell you guys, I am sure....
I hope that you are all doing great! Keep pranking Kayla with those moths. Maybe she will get over her phobia. Now we just have to think of a dad prank and a mom prank.
LOVE YOU ALL!

Helllllo!

This week was crazy sauce....

- Two intercambios
- TEMPLO!
- Conferencia de Zonas
- Talking with my family!

Hermana Rossi told me that when you only have a little time left, everything starts to move faster. It makes me sad! I now officially have 13 months on my mission, and I feel like I still have so much to do and so much to learn! AH!

It was a great week, though. I am learning so much from all the intercambios that I have. And my companion is great. I am going to be so sad when she goes home.

It was great talking to you all yesterday! I am glad that you are all doing great! AND MOM AND DAD ARE SO TRUNKI. Pucha.... en serio.....

We are teaching this guy named Toño. He is crazy, but is really cool. He has a million questions every appointment, and they all have to do with baptism. He really wants to be baptized. We are excited to see him progress and get baptized next month.

We are also teaching a young girl named Estefani. She is totally CRAZY. She is from Santa Cruz, and her aunt calls us every day, asking where she is because she always escapes from her house! But she came to church with us yesterday, and she has a fecha to get baptized on the 30th.

Everything is going great here! Trying to take advantage of every minute.

Have a great week! Sorry, no photos this week. I dont know what is happening with my camera!

LOVE YOU!

Ruth! What a cutie!

Happy Monday!

Hello! Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes! I had a great day! We had so many lessons and got to teach with two members! What made my day so so great was that literally all my converts from Potosi and Las Cuadras called me. And my old pensions, too! I dont know how, but they all remembered my birthday. It really made the day special for me. That night, my pension made me "brownies". Lets just say that brownies here are a little different than the states. Bless her heart. Hahahahah I love her. I would send you all pictures, but this internet is a little ghetto and wont let me upload any pictures.... dagnabbit....
How is everyone doing? Looks like Tiff and Kyle are rocking it! Kyle, I wish that we could eat pb&j sandwiches every day! Shoot....
Tiff, have you eaten any weird food yet down there in Arkansas?
STEPH, KAYLA, ROB, RHIANNON, EMILY NASH - Did you all have great birthday?! I hope so! I cannot believe that Kaymay now is 17 freaking years old! Where does the time go????
This week was really good! I had my first leader counsel meeting thing. It was a fun time. I felt like such a child being with all the missionaries with more experience and wisdom. I still have so much to learn. But I am excited to serve in a different way here.
This week, we really focused on teaching less active people. We had two less active members at church yesterday! One is an 89-year-old lady named Berta. She is the sweetest thing. And the other is named Miguel. He hasnt come to church in FOUR YEARS, but yesterday he came in a white shirt and tie! It mademe so happy. I love seeing people make changes in their lives.
So mom, lets skype at 5 pm BOLIVIAN TIME this Sunday. Woah... I am excited.
I hope everyone has a great week! Sorry about the photos... this computer is lame.
Tell me about your week! Tell me how the new Avengers is! Hahahaha
LOVE YOU!

"There is no change in the comfort zone and no comfort in the growth zone"

That was my phrase for this week..... change for me has never been easy. In fact, this was actually a really hard week, but I learned so much. I learned to be more humble, more faithful, more hopeful, and more willing to serve. Being a capacitadora is not easy. I have learned that Heavenly Father really does pull us out of our comfort zone to help us grow and learn. I have learned so much this week, and I really am so grateful.... even though it was hard....

My new comp is AMAZING. Hermana Rossi from Argentina. She is going home in 5 weeks. I am going to miss her so much. She has helped me so much this week.

This was one of the hardest weeks of my mission. Hermana Rossi and I dont really know what happened, but this week just kind of fell apart in our area. They had people progressing and we had appointments, but this week, literally NO ONE was home. NO ONE wanted to talk to us. NO ONE was interested. It was hard. I felt so bad for Hermana Rossi, because I couldnt help her because I just recently got here, so I couldnt give suggestions on who we could visit. We had one day where our numbers were all zeros. That has never happened in my whole mission. I knew that this area would be different, but I didnt think it would be this hard. I dont know why we had such a hard week. We were being so obedient and trying so hard.... and we dont really know Heavenly Father`s plan yet. Maybe He wanted us to learn patience. Maybe He wanted us to learn perseverance, or hope, or faith. We are still praying to know.

I learned something from my first intercambio as a capacitadora. So at the beginning of this week, I was really questioning why I was placed as capacitadora. I have no real experience in leading people! But I found out why this past Friday with Hermana Hullinger. Heavenly Father gave me this calling so that I can learn from these sisters. I learned so much when I was with Hermana Hullinger. I realized then that this was why I was called to this calling. I am so excited to see what else these other sisters will teach me.

So yeah, it is another week. I have two intercambios, so I will be with two new sisters tomorrow and Friday. I will go to their area because I dont know my area well enough yet. But I am excited to get to know these sisters more and learn from them.

Other things....

My pension is great. She is like our mom. She takes out the trash for us. She makes us breakfast, she even helped me wash my clothes this morning. I love her already.

I found a new favorite scripture. Look up Psalm 118:24. This should be everyone´s goal.

I hope everyone has a great week. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO RHIANNON AND KAYLA AND HERMANA FERWEDA! YOU ARE ALL SO AMAZING AND I HOPE YOU EAT LOTS OF CHOCOLAT ICECREAM ON YOUR BIRTHDAYS.

LOVE YOU ALL!
