HELLLLOOOOOOOO!!!!

So if you are reading this, you must be a really good friend of mine (because I'm thinking that no one is going to read this expect my mom), and I love you for it! 

This is the blog of yours truly. I was called to serve as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I report on April 9th to the Colombia MTC! Yup. I didn't know they had an MTC there either. But I am so excited!

I am from Colorado Springs, Colorado. I attend Brigham Young University and am majoring in Elementary Education. I have the coolest family in the world! I love them to death. It is because of them that I chose to serve a mission. I want others to know that they can be with their families forever, too.

I also have the BEST FRIENDS EVER. I really don't know what I did to deserve such great people in my life. 

My life has been changed forever by these people right here. 

BOLIVIA?!

I really have no idea what to expect from Bolivia. When I opened my called, I couldn't even pronounce Cochabamba. And then my little sister began googling Bolivia immediately, and showed me all these pictures of women with weird hats on. This first thing my dad told me about Bolivia (since he's been there) is that the women pee in the streets. Yup. They just squat right down and pee. Hey, if there's no shame in doing that, then I'm golden…since I have to pee about a trillion times a day anyway. It could be very convenient. 

And if I had a dollar for every time someone said that I'd be eating guinea pig for dinner, I'd be pretty dang rich. You bet my sister, who has a pet guinea pig, wasn't very happy about this fact.

Yeahhhh so stay tuned! I hope you enjoy reading about my crazy adventures. I know that I am going to love every minute of it. I am so excited to teach the beautiful people of Bolivia about this gospel that I love.
