"Randy Lay There Like a Slug! It was his only defense!"

HELLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

I hope everyone had a great Christmas! This week was packed with so much stuff that I actually dont really remember all that happened!

It was so great to talk to all of you on Christmas. You all look so OLD! Hahahaha No, but you all do look a little bit different. Emi especially looks different. She is getting so big. And her voice has changed. It was great to see Tiff and Kristy and HayHay as well. A nice surprise for me! I really really hope that Tiff chooses to go on a mission. That would make my whole life.

After I talked to you guys, we had a couple of appointments. We went and visited this old lady who was alone on Christmas and watched a movie about Jesus Christ and ate panetone. Then, we didnt have anyone to teach because it was getting late, so we actually ended up knocking a lot of doors on Christmas. Then, we went and ate dinner back at our house ( I ate my coconut peanut butter with apples YES) and we opened our gifts from each other, and our packages from our families. I loved my package mom. Absolutely loved it. MINT M&MS! PEANUT BUTTER! MY FAVORITE MINT CANDIES! GUSHERS! CARAMELS! (they make you gogogo! I hope my family gets that joke.....) AND PICTURES! The pictures were my favorite. Thank you all.

So it was definitely a different Christmas. I didnt get to watch Christmas Story as usual, but I will say that it was one of the greatest Christmases of my whole life. Why? Because I got to be selfless. I got to do exactly what my Savior would want me to do on Christmas... share His story. And that is the most beautiful thing that I could as for, right? I felt the Spirit so strong that day. I knew that Heavenly Father was right beside us. It was a great day.

The rest of this week was pretty normal. We did have a really cool experience yesterday......

I wanted to share one quick experience that we had yesterday. So all of our appointments fell through yesterday. It was frustrating, because I knew that that made the day harder for Hna Parry. It is always a harder, longer day when we dont have people to talk to and have to knock a lot of doors. And we had a member meeting us to go and teach. I was super scared that we were not going to have ANYONE to visit with this member! Believe me, I was praying harder than I EVER HAD for a lesson. Something! I was praying for a miracle. Well, I know that Heavenly Father puts people in our path, because as we walked with this member, we turned the corner and there stood one of our really golden investigators who never has time. She didnt have anything to do, so we were able to teach her a lesson! I thanked my Heavenly Father right then and there with a prayer in my heart that He had provided someone for us to teach. And can I just tell you that this lesson was one of the most spiritual lessons that I have ever had?! We taught her lesson one, and as I told her the First Vision, she started to cry. And then I started to cry. I know that Heavenly Father testified to her and to me that Joseph Smith really is a prophet of God. This was one example of just how powerful Joseph Smith`s words actually are! I came away from that lesson so grateful for my Heavenly Father and the Restoration and little miracles. So we didnt have very many lessons that day, but I knew that we were making a difference and seeing miracles here in Las Cuadras.
I know that my Savior lives. I know that I am here with Hermana Parry for a reason. I know that we have many people to help here. I know that we can see miracles every single day if we have faith. I know that this is His work.

Thank you all for being so supportive. I love you so much, and it literally made my whole year to get to see your faces. Keep working hard, and remember that I love you and I pray for you every day.
