HOLLLLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
I feel like
I literally just wrote you all. How have you been since 5 days ago? We have
been doing good here in Las Cuadras.
Thursday, we
had a really cool zone conference. We spent the whole morning analyzing the
talk Becoming A Consecrated Missionary
by Tad R. Callister. I love that talk. I hope that all of you have had the
chance to read it. It is really a life-changing thing to read. It helps me to
realize how I need to improve as a missionary. The president also surprised us
and let us watch Meet the Mormons. Apparently it is a movie that was in the
theaters in the states. It was cool. They even made us chocolate chip cookies
and popcorn as we watched it! It was a great conference.
Friday. I
kind of died..... Dont freak out mom! I got sick again. But I am doing better.
We still worked, and had a lot of success, but I gotta tell you, it is a lot
harder to work when you are sick.
This weekend
was actually really hard. I came away from the zone conference with such a
desire to do all that I could, and it seems that Heavenly Father wanted to test
me, because the next day, I got really sick. All of my desires to work hard
went out the window, because I felt terrible. It seemed that Heavenly Father
wanted to see if I was really ready to give all that I could. I am proud to say
that we still kept working, even when I didnt feel good. It was an amazing
experience for me, even when I felt like I was going to die, because I really
got to see Hermana Parry grow. When it seemed that I could do no more, there
she was, helping me and even taking the lead. It made me so happy. I was worth
it just to see her progress and take the lead. She and I have both learned so
much from our time spent together, and from 12 Semanas. I really hope that we
can have another transfer together, because we work so well together. And I
learn so much from her. No, we didnt see any big miracles during this weekend,
even when I wanted to see them. At times, we think that when we are working
when we are sick, we should see giant miracles. But I think that Heavenly
Father gave me small miracles while I was sick. I got to see my recent convert
pass the sacrament for the first time. A new investigator came to the church
for the first time. I was given the strength to keep going even when I didnt
want to. I saw Hermana Parry bloom and take the lead. Those were the little
miracles that really made all the difference
Sunday, one
of the sweetest things ever is seeing one of your converts pass you the
sacrament. Jose Ardaya passed us the sacrament. It made me so happy! And
Barinia is doing great, too! She is there every single Sunday, and even comes
early! She is even going so seminary! It is such a cool thing to see your
converts progressing and becoming more and more converted.
Today was
a really fun day, too. We drove in trufi
to a really pretty place with a waterfall and played capture the flag with
another zone and then had a waterballoon paint fight. It was a lot of fun.
Really,
nothing too much to report. We are still doing great here. I am feeling mostly
better, but my stomach still feels a little weird. I will be okay though, mom.
Dont worry.
Tell me more
about how you are all doing! I hear it is snowing like crazy down there! Who
has a birthday coming up?
Sorry this
letter was boring. We only have two weeks left before cambios. I AM SO NERVOUS.
Remember how I didnt want to leave Potosi? Now I really dont want to leave Las
Cuadras. It is crazy how easily you get attached to the people in your area. There are so many great people
here.
I LOVE YOU
ALL. Stay out of trouble, and dont forget to send me lots of pictures.
LOVE
HERMANA
